Returns / Cancellation Policy
In case of change of mind, we have 30 Day return policy, which would be in the form of Store Credit with a validity of 1 year. Exclusions do apply. Please see below for the Terms & Conditions for the 30-Day Return Policy.
We strongly advise you to check the item thoroughly for any defects or faults at the time of purchase. Returns won’t be accepted for defects noticed once you have left the store.
Online 30-Day Return Policy
We always check the goods before dispatch. However, all efforts are made to avoid any errors; though, rarely, mistakes can happen. We strongly advise you to thoroughly check the goods when you receive them, and in a rare case where the goods you ordered are damaged, defective, incorrect or missing, we advise you to contact us immediately within 48 hours of receiving the goods. You can contact us via our Facebook page or write to us at hello@sturdysports.com.au, and our friendly resolution staff will assist you. Returns won’t be accepted for defects, faults or missing items reported after 48 hours of receiving the goods.
For your Peace of Mind, we do provide Returns for Change of Mind, whether it is an Online or in-store purchase. Please see below the terms & conditions for Returns.
If you would like to cancel your order after purchasing online and choosing it to be posted or picked up, store credit will be issued in all circumstances.
Terms & Conditions for Returns
- The item MUST be in a saleable condition (i.e. the original tags and labels are still attached, the item is in its original packaging (if any), and the item is unworn, unused and as sold).
- Any free stuff you have received from us with the gears MUST also be returned in new, unused and saleable condition
- Returns won’t be accepted if the item is an exclusion* (Please see below).
- A satisfactory proof of purchase MUST be provided at the time of return along with the item and any Free gifts or gear received. Please retain a copy of proof of purchase for your reference.
- The item MUST be returned within 30 days of purchase. If the item is received after 30 days of purchase, unfortunately, the return won't be accepted.

Brooklyn, Vic 3012 - The returns MUST have your full name, Invoice number and mobile number clearly written on the package.
- In case of a change of mind, the buyer pays the return postage as well as the initial postage cost of dispatching the item to the customer. Postage cost will not be refunded in any circumstances.
- We advise you to post the item to be returned via registered post with signature on delivery, as we won’t be able to issue the store credit if the item is not received, is lost in transit. Sturdy Sports will not be liable for lost return parcels under any circumstances.
- Under all circumstances but not limited to ordering by mistake or change of mind, refund will be provided in the form of Store Credit valid for 1 year
- Store credit will be issued only once the item is received with inserts and proof of purchase
- Sturdy Sports Management reserves the right to exercise discretion in case of any dispute
- In rare & exceptional circumstances, where refunds have to be provided via Afterpay or ZipPay, 15% of the order amount will be deducted, and remaining value will be refunded because we still have to pay the Afterpay or Zippay Merchant fee.
- If the Order is not collected from the Postal Service after attempted delivery, and the order is returned to Sturdy Sports, store credit will be provided after deduction of the Initial Postage cost & Return postage cost charged by Australia Post.
- For International returns, if an incorrect item has been sent from us, Sturdy Sports reserves the right to make the final decision on the processing of returns depending on the country of destination and the postage cost involved.
* What are the Exclusions?
- If you choose Free Knocking and or Match Ready Service or Engraving with the bat at the time of purchase, unfortunately, we won’t be able to accept any returns as the bat is not considered new anymore once it's prepared, hence the 30-day return policy is nullified.
- Cricket Bat should not have any sort of marks, including mallet or ball and no oil should be applied.
- Nets, Bowling Machines and any other bulky goods are not eligible for Return on Change of Mind
- Compressions, Socks, abdominal guards and abdominal briefs are not returned because of health & hygiene
- Sale & Clearance items will not be returned
- Customised Orders Are NOT ELIGIBLE FOR RETURN OR REFUND
- Freight Cost is not eligible for any sort of Refund.
In rare and exceptional circumstances, including cancellations for any reason but not limited to mistakenly placed an order that require a refund, the following conditions apply:
- For orders with free or flat fee delivery, the initial postage cost we paid, along with a 10% processing fee, will be deducted from the transactional value. If the payment method is Afterpay or Zippay, the initial postage cost we paid, along with a 15% processing fee, will be deducted from the transactional value.
- For orders that have not been shipped or picked up, a 10% cancellation processing fee will be applied, as we are still required to cover the cancellation cost despite the customer choosing to cancel the order. We CANNOT GUARANTEE THE CANCELLATION if the dispatch team dispatches the order despite cancellation.
